The Full Sketchbook!
I created a digital flipbook of my sketchbook drawings so that I could keep the sketchbook-feel and easily showcase the entire book.
I started this sketchbook in January of 2026 and am currently still wrapping up the final few pages. I'm super excited to see all of the sketches together in one place. I really enjoy how I remember where I was when I drew each one of them, they tell a story I wasn't even aware of in the moment.
I'm proud of the stylistic progress I made throughout these pages. My favorites are definitely when I sat on the beach and watched sailing practice.

Plein Air Sketchbook (2026)
Stratton Mt. Patch
Despite being very busy on my family's farm, I managed to create a finished piece! This patch was inspired by a day trip to Stratton Mountain with my boyfriend. A seemingly quick run to move some lawn furniture unexpectanly turned into a multi-hour ER visit (just to be sent home with a bottle of water and some saltines. Thank you American healthcare). While I still think fondly about the trip as a whole, I felt that I needed to process what happened. I think that sewing and embroidery are an excellent way to process stressful/unpleasant events (I think it's something to do with the repetition and focus). This was also my first time getting my sewing machine to do a satin stitch! I think it went pretty well overall despite getting stuck in a few places. My favorite part of the piece is the little felt truck, it brought me so much joy.
Plein air drawings
I've been taking this little sketchbook and a brushpen with me everywhere I go, it's been really fun! My goal with these are to push me to create through long-term burnout and reignite my love of drawing. So far so good!
My Tote Bag!
A couple months ago I crocheted myself a tote bag; it's now my favorite thing. I didn't really follow a pattern, which became a bit of an issue when it came to making the houndstooth stripes at the bottom of the bag. I couldn't get the pattern to line up quite right in the end, so the pocket on the front hides it pretty well. It's an oval base that's slip-stiched to one long round of single crochet. I love how the handle is built into the body of the bag. Not only is it comfortable, but I also don't have to worry about my bag opening because my arm closes it!
