a studio artist based in New London, CT at Connecticut College.
I'm pursuing a double major in Studio Art and Art History.
At the moment I'm most interested in large-scale sculpture, folk art, the different applications of color and sewing.
Is planned to be a set of three sculptures representing my tumultuous first semester in college; a commitment to always keep creating despite setbacks and major life changes.
The sculptures would be comprised of an aluminum skeleton, foam body, and felted exterior.
I find the texture and flatness of wool quite appealing to the eye. It's vibrant and flat, instantly drawing attention and creating a statement.
